I'M SORRY I DON'T MEAN TO SOUND PREDICTABLE BUT DOES ANYBODY IN THE KNOWN UNIVERSE (LET ALONE ANYBODY IN SECTOR 2814) THINK THAT RYAN REYNOLDS IS A GOOD CHOICE TO PLAY GREEN LANTERN?!?!?!?! I mean, just because he has brown hair and the correct body type does not mean his personality or screen presence comes anywhere close to Hal Jordan. I would say, in fact, that he is about as far from Hal Jordan as it's possible to get. Tom Cruise as Lestat wasn't even this far a stretch. Next they'll be casting Nicolas Coppola as Ghost Rider or something.
Oh.
Of course, no one would be happier than myself to be proven wrong and having GREEN LANTERN become an actually great movie.
But sorry, I just don't see it.

  1. Is he playing the "Hal Jordan Green Lantern" I saw in an interview he said he was planning on doing a more "Kyle Rainer" version who has more of a sence of humor than Hal Jordan.

  2. Is that right? That's a little more reasonable, I guess but since the Kyle Rainer GL was basically a bust why would they make a movie about him? Also he seems a bit old to be playing Kyle Rainer.

Now if it was Guy Gardner. . .

  3. Wait a minute. That's bothering me the more I think about it. WHY would you want to make a GREEN LANTERN movie about Kyle Rainer?!?!?!?!?!?! Kinda stoopid. Sorry everybody but Hal Jordan is Green Lantern. Everyone else is just fill-ins.

  4. i used to love him on 'two guys a girl & a pizza place'. then i began to notice that he seems to be what is referred to as a one trick pony. he can portray only himself and that is now BEYOND tired. i personally think that edmond o'brien would be a better green lantern; and he's dead.
