A TRIBUTE TO AL PLASTINO

THE SECOND COMIC BOOK ARTIST WE LOST IN NOVEMBER WAS AL PLASTINO.

Never one of the most celebrated artists of the silver age, Plastino nonetheless was a familiar and reliable comic book artist whose very style evokes those wonderful, wacky 60's DC books - especially in the Superman family of books which Plastino frequented.  If his many years of work weren't enough, Plastino also rockets into the history books as the co-creator and artist who brought us both the first appearance of Supergirl

as well as the first appearance of the Legion of Super-Heroes!

Here is a small gallery of artwork by the late Al Plastino.
