And the era of the Friday the 13th movies also reminds us of the 1980's slasher film boom filled with serial killers and "fill-in-your-favourite-sharpened-garden-utensil-here" maniacs. I suppose briefly Jason Voorhees was a human killer . . . maybe . . . before he become something "more than human". But several years before the 80's slasher craze, Skywald's Horror-Mood magazine-sized comic book SCREAM published a little article called "THE ART OF KILLING HUMAN MONSTERS" in their tenth issue dated October 1, 1974.
