PART 2 OF OUR TRIBUTE TO THE GREAT CHARACTER ACTORS: PEPE THE KING PRAWN! Yes, he's a thespic wonder! Pepe is what I call the epitome of the perfect character actor who raises the level of every movie he's in!
How in the hell? This johnny come lately is nothing! If there is a character worth mentioning in the muppets it is NOT that little shrimp Pepe, everyone knows it's Beaker! I choose to use my executive challenge!
Challenge denied!! Pepe is by far the best muppet today. Have you seen Muppets From Space?!? He is hysterical. Beaker blows dude. He is old news. The shrimp, or er, king prawn is a great character actor.
I would also have to deny any executive challenge -- ESPECIALLY if all you've got to offer is Beaker.
Um. . .he can't even form sentences, dude. He is WAAAAAAAAAY down on the Muppet hierarchy, I hate to break it to you. Beaker is perhaps mildly amusing the first time you see him but -- um, we're talking a one note pony and I can't believe such cultured people as Miss Jenny Penny (someone as UNCOUTH as Cheekies doesn't surprise me, naturally) would throw their hat in the ring for such a so-so Muppet. While I would hesitate to call Pepe the BEST Muppet (Sorry, Finky Boy), he certainly kicks hell outta Beaker. Sorry
