We do love our lists, don't we???

Back in June through July of 2008 on this blog I listed my 100 fave films and in August 2008 I narrowed it down to a definitive statement of my top 10 - stating at the time that such a list was an exercise in futility and would probably change an hour from now. This is true because since 2008 I've seen a ton of movies; many of which are now my favourites. But here's what I said in August 2008:

1. L'Eclisse
2. Winter Light
3. Casablanca
4. It's A Gift
5. The Maltese Falcon
6. Holiday
7. Long Day's Journey Into Night
8. A Canterbury Tale
9. Rear Window
10. Trouble In Paradise

And stay tuned to this blog because this topic is turning into something of a series. . .shortly I'll have even more movie stars and their favourite films...
