S'funny because although I am a horror fan of old and have done the whole fanzine, convention etc thing. I really don't have any special feelings for Halloween as a holiday. When I was a child it was never a big thing in England and I suppose that left its mark on me. I always saw it as an American thing - particularly the tricking or treating. Now that the American style Halloween has more or less been adopted over here I tend to see it as the shops trying to screw a few more pennies out of me. As the years go by I begin to feel the same about the commercialisation of Easter and Christmas. Just getting old I suppose.

I prefer the Silver Shamrock jingle,: "32 days till Halloween, Halloween, 32 days till Halloween, Silver Shamrock!"
